About Us

The appeal of the Eliot Arms lies in the fact it is a 16th Century typical Cotswold stone hotel and pub that simply oozes with traditional English character. Located in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park and close to Cirencester and Cheltenham and all the Cotswold sights, the Eliot Arms offers a relaxing environment from which to explore this beautiful part of the country. It's the perfect place to unwind, either in the friendly bar or beer garden areas, and simply let the stresses and strains of everyday life float away. The Eliot Arms has ten en-suite letting rooms and for locals features a skittle alley which can be easily converted into a function room for parties, christenings and other occasions. Dining at the Eliot Arms is always a pleasure as this friendly inn offers a selection of good quality pub cooked food to enjoy in either the bar or restaurant on those lovely days and evenings, in the garden. Pub food is available all day, either from the main or snack menu, and is complimented with a superb choice of beers, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. As well as soaking up the serene atmosphere and enjoying the ancient heritage within the Roman town of Cirencester close by, visitors are well placed to discover the joys of many Cotswold tourist attractions as well as an excellent choice of fishing, sailing, water skiing and diving at the Cotswold Water Park.

Piri Piri Chicken Wings

BBQ chicken wings served with a spicy Piri Piri sauce and cool sour cream and chive dip.
Goat’s Cheese and Caramelised Onion Bruschetta (v)

Toasted ciabatta bread, drizzled with oil and topped with melted goat’s cheese and caramelised onions.

Chicken BBQ Melt

A butterfly chicken breast, grilled and chopped with bacon, BBQ sauce and melted cheddar cheese. Served with chips and a side salad.
Pedigree Beer Battered Fish & Chips

Battered in-house with our famous Pedigree beer batter. Served with chips and your choice of mushy or garden peas and tartare sauce.
Wexford Cheddar & Chutney Tart (v)

A shortcrust pastry base filled with Wexford Cheddar cheese sauce, cherry tomatoes and chutney. Served with new potatoes and side salad.

Chocolate Melt in the Middle

For all the chocolate lovers out there? An individual chocolate cake with a melting chocolate heart.
Bramley Apple Pie

Slices of Bramley apples in a sweet shortcrust pastry, dusted with sugar. Served with a choice of custard, cream or ice cream.
